Our friends invited us to spend Christmas Day with their family for the second year in a row. It was such a lovely day filled with laughter, music, chatter and a friendly monster toss competition. We sent our kids to nap, and they came down 40 minutes later giggling and telling us how they enjoyed jumping off their beds and onto Adam’s blow-up mattress. Julia’s mom prepared the most delicious bigos (”hunter’s stew”), it was out of this world, along with borscht, potato and herring salads. If we are lucky, we might get invited next year again. We can’t wait for more apple cider!
