We have a circle of close friends and we try to see each other regularly. Often we let the children play and then have brunch together. This morning we changed it up a bit and ate breakfast first. We then went to our neighborhood playground. It is so satisfying to see your toddlers become independent preschoolers and play by themselves. We then had lunch at our friend’s home, overlooking the Hudson River and sipping cappuccino prepared by our friend. I admit his cappuccino is almost as good as my husband’s strong coffee. The kids ate, played, giggled and cuddled together. What bliss!
